HALLOWEEN ANIMATRONIC REPAIR GUIDE

Halloween Animatronic Gear Size Guide

Find the failed part before you order the replacement.

A lost motion, clicking sound or slipping limb can come from a cracked gear, loose pulley, stretched belt or another part of the drive system. This guide helps you compare the original component to Gizato's 8T, 9T, 10T and 16T M0.5 repair families without assuming that any kit is universal.

THE MATCHING WORKFLOW

Six checks prevent most avoidable mismatches.

Keep the original component until the repair is complete. A ruler can help with a first comparison, but calipers are more useful for small diameters, widths and bores.

  1. 01

    Disconnect everything

Unplug the power adapter, remove every battery and wait for all movement to stop before opening a housing.

  2. 02

    Document the mechanism

Photograph the full gear train, belt path, wire routing, washers and spacers before moving any part.

  3. 03

    Count the teeth

Mark one tooth, count a complete rotation and record the total. An 8T gear and a 9T gear are not interchangeable.

  4. 04

    Measure the complete profile

Compare module, outside diameter, face width, hub shape, bore and shaft style—not tooth count alone.

  5. 05

    Check pulleys and belts

Compare pulley diameter, groove width and belt cross-section. Measure a relaxed belt without stretching it.

  6. 06

    Dry-check before power

Seat the matched component without forcing it, then rotate the mechanism through a full cycle by hand before closing the housing.

KEEP A RECORD AT THE REPAIR BENCH

Compare the original part before buying.

Print the eight-check worksheet, record your measurements and keep it with the original component. The photo checklist helps you gather the details needed for identification support.

CHOOSE THE SYSTEM

150 pieces or the expanded 176-piece system?

Both start with the same six organized replacement families. The expanded system adds matching and service supplies.

CORE ASSORTMENT

150-Piece Repair Kit

For a measured repair that matches one of the included gear, pulley or 20 mm belt families.

  • 25 each of 8T, 9T, 10T and 16T M0.5 gears
  • 25 single-groove 9.3 mm pulleys
  • 25 black 20 mm drive belts

EXPANDED SERVICE SYSTEM

176-Piece System with FitKey™

For customers who also want five added belt sizes, wire-management supplies and an initial matching aid.

  • The complete 150-piece core assortment
  • 15 extra belts across five diameter groups
  • 10 ties plus one Gizato FitKey™

Neither kit is universal. The FitKey™ is an initial comparison and installation aid; it does not replace precise measurement or confirm compatibility by itself.
